Project Overview: This Pelham, New Hampshire build is the full package. A 30′ x 58′ multi-sport court engineered to handle street hockey, pickleball, and basketball, all on one fully enclosed, professionally lined surface. From regulation hockey board systems to a custom center ice design, this is one of the most complete backyard installations we’ve built.
Hockey Boards and Fencing
- Athletica Hockey Boards: A full 28′ x 56′, 42-inch tall board system anchors the rink, giving the court true rink look and authentic gameplay feel.
- Chain Link Integration: Approximately 115 linear feet of 6-foot black chain link was incorporated directly into the board system, complete with an 8-foot corner radius and curved top and bottom rails for a clean, seamless perimeter.
- Access Points:
- A chain link access gate was built directly on top of the 36-inch hockey access door, positioned to the left of the basketball hoop for easy entry.
- A second 36-inch access door was installed on the opposite side of the court at centerline, with no fence gate, keeping the layout functional on both ends.
Court Surface and Design
The tile and paint work on this court was designed to capture real rink details:
- Field: Steel Blue tile covers the majority of the court, giving it a true ice-rink look and feel.
- Center Ice Stripe: Bright Red tile marks the center line for an authentic hockey layout.
- Blue Lines: Bright Blue tile defines the hockey blue lines on either side of center.
- Center Ice Faceoff Circle: Painted in bright red for a sharp, regulation-style detail.
- Goalie Lines and Creases: Bright red paint marks both ends of the rink.
- Pickleball Lines: Black paint lays out the pickleball court cleanly over the same surface.
Equipment
- Basketball System: A Pro Slam adjustable hoop with a 36-inch arm and 72-inch backboard rounds out the court, adding a third sport to the mix without compromising the hockey and pickleball layouts.

Between the regulation hockey boards, integrated chain link fencing, dual access points, and a tile and paint scheme that mirrors real rink markings, this Pelham court delivers hockey, pickleball, and basketball on a single surface without cutting corners on any of them.
