This court was originally constructed in 2011 using PowerGame+ tiles. The current homeowner, who purchased the property last year as a summer retreat, sought to refresh the existing court. Sport Court Northeast stepped in to deliver a comprehensive renovation that brought the court back to life.
The court underwent a complete power wash to remove years of dirt and a significant amount of moss overgrowth that had accumulated between the tiles. To ensure a deep clean, the tiles were carefully removed, the surface was power washed, and the moss was properly disposed of before reinstalling the tiles. A portable water container and approximately 300 feet of hose were utilized to supply water for the power washing process, ensuring efficiency and thoroughness.
Game Line Updates
The existing 4-square game lines were painted over in gray to blend seamlessly with the 14-year-old tiles, effectively voiding them. In their place, new pickleball game lines were painted in crisp white, adding a fresh and functional update to the court.
Equipment Upgrades
The project included the removal and replacement of the rebounder net system and three sides of skirts, ensuring a polished and professional appearance. The existing basketball rim net was replaced with a new one for improved playability.
Fencing Maintenance
New zip ties were installed to tidy up the court fencing, enhancing both the look and safety of the space.
This renovation not only revitalized the old court but also customized it to the homeowner’s needs, creating a refreshed and functional space for year round enjoyment.
