This project involved the installation of a new 30′ x 30′ pickleball court located in Niskayuna, Schenectady County, NY. The court features a combination of modern design and functionality, making it an ideal space for both recreational and competitive neighborhood play.
Key Features:
- SportGame Pickleball Tile: The court is adorned with a black border tile, complemented by gray and granite colors, specifically a gray key and granite field, providing a sleek and professional appearance.
- Hit Wall: A 12’x10’ hit wall in gray is included, designed for self-play, allowing players to practice their skills effectively.
- Adjustable Hoop System: The installation features a 3672 Pro Slam Adjustable Hoop System, which can be adjusted from 7.5 to 10 feet, accommodating players of all ages and skill levels.
- Ramp Edging: The court is finished with 2” ramp edging, ensuring safety and accessibility for all users.
- Lighting: A single head LED light system provides ample illumination for evening play, enhancing the usability of the court after sunset.
- Basketball Lines: The court includes white lines for basketball, making it a versatile space for multiple sports.
Installation Process:
The project began with excavation and tree work to prepare the site for the concrete pad, ensuring a solid foundation for the court. This careful preparation was crucial for the longevity and durability of the installation.
